Privacy Policy

PropertyKart (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the PropertyKart Android mobile application (package name com.propertykart.app) and this website at propertykart.co.in. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the PropertyKart mobile app and related support channels. It describes the app’s current implementation as of the date above.

2. Information we collect

Account and authentication information

• Google Sign-In: If you choose Google, Google authenticates you and provides an ID token. PropertyKart exchanges that token with Supabase Auth to create or restore your session. We do not receive your Google password.
• Email sign-in: If you create an account with email and password, your email address and a securely hashed password are stored in PropertyKart’s Supabase Auth project.
• Session data: Authentication session tokens are stored on your device using AsyncStorage so you can remain signed in between app launches.

Profile information

Depending on how you sign in and what you enter in the app, we may process:

• Name (including from Google profile metadata when available)
• Email address
• Phone number (if you provide it in profile or listing flows)
• City and user role (for example owner, dealer, or builder)
• Profile photo URL (for example from Google account metadata)

Property and listing information

When you use listing features, the app processes property details you enter such as title, description, location fields (city, locality, address, landmark, pincode), pricing, property type, amenities, and related listing metadata. Listing photos you select are referenced in the app from your device during listing creation.

Current implementation note: Property browsing, saved properties, saved searches, recently viewed items, inquiries, notifications, and draft/posted listing data in the current app build are handled through in-app application data structures during your session. Supabase is currently used for authentication; remote database sync for listing and activity data is planned but not yet active in the production app build described here.

Search and activity information

• Search queries and filters you enter (city, locality, project, landmark, category, and similar)
• Saved properties and saved searches within the app
• Recently viewed and contacted property activity within the app
• In-app notifications related to your activity

City and locality are entered by you as search filters. The app does not continuously collect precise device GPS location in the current implementation.

Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send (for example your email address, message content, and any account details you include).

3. How we use information

• Create and manage your account and authentication session
• Display and manage property discovery, search, and listing features
• Enable saved items, activity history, and inquiry flows inside the app
• Respond to support, privacy, and account deletion requests
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law

4. Supabase (authentication backend)

PropertyKart uses Supabase solely for the PropertyKart project to provide authentication services (Google Sign-In and email/password). Supabase processes authentication data under its own security and privacy practices. We do not use SoulMeet or any unrelated Supabase project for PropertyKart.

5. Third-party services

• Supabase: authentication and (when enabled in future releases) database hosting for PropertyKart
• Google: Sign-In authentication when you choose that option

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Storage and security

• Authentication traffic uses HTTPS/TLS
• Email passwords are stored by Supabase Auth using secure hashing
• Session tokens are stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage
• Access to backend credentials is restricted to authorized PropertyKart operations

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Data retention

We retain account authentication data while your account remains active. In-app activity and listing data in the current build generally persists only for the app session unless future backend sync is enabled. We may retain limited records where required by law, security, or fraud prevention.

8. Data deletion

You can:

• Log out to clear the local session on your device
• Delete your account from Profile → Delete account in the app
• Request deletion by email at support@propertykart.co.in

When the in-app delete function succeeds, PropertyKart attempts to remove your Supabase authentication account. If the backend deletion function is not yet enabled on the server, the app records a deletion request, signs you out, and you must contact support to complete permanent deletion. 9. Your choices and rights

You may update profile fields in the app, reset your password (email accounts), sign out, or delete your account. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law.

10. Children’s privacy

PropertyKart is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of PropertyKart after updates means you accept the revised policy.
