Delete your PropertyKart account

This page explains how PropertyKart users can request account deletion. You do not need to sign in to read these instructions.
Option 1 — Delete in the PropertyKart app (recommended)
- Open the PropertyKart Android app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
What the app does when you confirm:
- Calls the PropertyKart Supabase
delete_own_accountfunction when it is enabled on the server. - If that function succeeds, your Supabase authentication account is removed and you are signed out.
- If that function is not yet enabled on the server, the app records a deletion request in your account metadata, signs you out, and shows a message that support must complete permanent deletion.
Important: Account deletion is not guaranteed to be fully automatic
until the PropertyKart Supabase deletion function is deployed.
If you see a message that deletion was requested but not completed, email
support@propertykart.co.in to finish the process.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Email support@propertykart.co.in from the email address linked to your PropertyKart account.
Subject line: Delete PropertyKart account
Include:
- Your registered email address
- Your name (as shown in the app, if known)
- A clear statement that you want your PropertyKart account permanently deleted
We verify ownership and process confirmed requests within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days).
What happens after deletion
- Authentication account: Removed from PropertyKart Supabase Auth when deletion completes successfully.
- Local session: Cleared from your device when you delete the account or log out.
- In-app activity data: In the current app build, browsing/saved/listing activity is handled in app session data and is not retained on a remote PropertyKart listing database.
- Future backend data: When remote database tables are enabled, deletion is intended to remove favorites, saved searches, inquiries, notifications, and disassociate listings linked to your account, as defined in the PropertyKart Supabase deletion migration.
- Legal retention: We may retain limited records where required by law, security, or fraud prevention.
Before you delete
- Deletion cannot always be undone once completed.
- If you only want to stop using the app temporarily, you can log out instead.
- Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your authentication account.
